Do I need 15 people to rent the bike?
Absolutely not! We do smaller by seat rentals and will pair you with other smaller groups to get as full of a bike as possible. The ‘by seat’ tours are two hours long and the more people on, the easier and more fun the route is! We can get the bike moving at a decent speed with a minimum of 6 people.
Can I drink on board?
You can hydrate in between breweries with any of your favorite non-alcoholic beverages! You can bring snacks as well! We have plenty of storage space in the center for coolers so feel free to bring your own water, soda or energy drinks to quench your thirst!
What can I expect?
To have a blast! We really try to make each tour unique, so please feel free to bring your own tunes to bike out to(cds or any mp3 players), any snacks or non-alcoholic beverages to rehydrate in between stops (again there really is PLENTY of room on board for coolers), and some bike ready shoes (this IS a workout at times)!
Do all riders need to be 21 or older?
Yes, at this time we will only be having riders 21 or older.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
No you do not HAVE to wear a helmet, but we will have them onboard if you’d feel safer in one. If you elect to NOT wear a helmet, you must indicate this on your liability waiver before the tour begins.
Are we allowed to tip the driver?
If you feel we deserve it, sure thing!
Can we go to any bars/breweries in the NW quadrant?
As we are trying to be really flexible with our routes, we do have to work in unison with the other public transportation systems. Right now our favorite and safest approved route includes Rogue, Bridgeport, New Old Lompoc and Lucky Lab. We are open to other suggestions and will work our best to find a safe way to other requested locations!
What is the cancellation policy?
Any cancellation two weeks in advance, you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit or payment. Any cancellation less than two weeks prior to your tour, you will receive a rain check voucher to use your deposit or payment towards another day.
How should I prepare for the tour?
To make your tour as enjoyable as possible, here are some things you can do. Print out and bring a signed liability waiver from this website (we will have copies to sign if you forget). Cash is king, it also gets you a beer a lot faster and easier once we get to the bars, so remember your cash and id to ensure you can enjoy a nice cold one at each stop. Last but not least, remember we are having a GREAT time and the bars LOVE having us, but we are a bigger group, be nice to your bartenders and tip (they won’t forget you for it)!
Are the seats adjustable?
No, unfortunately they are not. If you are under 5’3” you will have trouble reaching the pedals, but that’s what the bench in the back and two seats without pedals are for! We love our shorter riders to come along for the ride!
How fast does the bike go?
We average about 5 miles per hour, this ranges quite a bit going uphill and downhill!
How difficult is the pedaling?
The more people pedaling, the easier it is, but it can be a workout at times! We do approach slight hills that require effort on everyone’s part, but the coast that follows sure makes up for it! Remember that while we have seating for 15, only 10 actually pedal, so we make sure that those getting tired can switch seats to give the bike fresh legs!
